We are pleased to announce that Dr. Dennis Cho has accepted a full-time appointment as Lecturer, Clinician-Teacher, in the Division of Emergency Medicine, Department of Medicine.

Dr. Cho is currently staff in the emergency department at University Health Network (UHN). Dr. Cho completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Cho completed a one-year advanced training in Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS). In addition, Dr. Cho had also started his Master of Science in Health Sciences Education at McMaster University.

Dr. Cho's focus is in providing excellent clinical care as an emergency physician with a particular interest in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and medical education. Dr. Cho was recently appointed as co-director of emergency department POCUS at the University Health Network. He hopes to grow the program by developing and delivering training to a wide range of learners, including trainees, residents, and continuing medical education for staff physicians. Dr. Cho has already started to develop himself as a local leader in POCUS and has begun publishing in his area of expertise. In addition, Dr. Cho has taken on the responsibility as the UHN Emergency Medicine representative for the UofT FRCP Emergency Medicine Competency Committee.
