Our Keynote Speaker is Dr. Pushpa Narayanaswami, Associate Professor, Neurology, Harvard Medical School. 

Keynote Lecture: The Tribulations of Myasthenia Gravis Trials: Have we Conquered them?

Objectives:

• To describe the challenges of trial design and execution of trials in rare diseases- Myasthenia Gravis
• To summarize evidence for the effectiveness of “traditional” immunosuppressant treatments for Myasthenia Gravis
• To analyze the utility of observational designs for the evaluation of Myasthenia Gravis

We will also have a lecture from Dr. Hanns Lochmuller from the University of Ottawa, as well as talks from neuromuscular faculty and trainees from the Division of Neurology, University of Toronto which include; Dr Vera Bril, Dr Ophir Vinik, Dr Hans Katzberg, Dr Issa Alawneh, Dr Monica Alcantara, Dr Juan Francisco Idiaquez, Dr Dubravka Dodig and Dr Raed Alothman.
